Barangay Ginebra San Miguel defeated Meralco Bolts in Game 6 to win the 2016 PBA Governors Cup Title last October 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. LA Tenorio was named Finals MVP but it was the game winning shot of import Justin Brownlee which gave Ginebra the championship after 8 years.
