Malaki ang improvement sa defense, especially with Blanche at the center. Tulad ng Batang Gilas, ang pumatay sa team ay rebounds, 52-29 lamang ng France. Rebounds give you a chance to score, while denying your opponent the same opportunity. I really hope mabigyan ng dagdag na playing time si Fajardo-try PF kung hindi C, kahit matambakan muna ang Gilas. Para iwas injury at mapreserba mo si Blatche hanggang sa games with Puerto Rico at Senegal, kailangang limitahan ang oras niya to 20 minutes a game,and more rest periods, especially with the tougher/ rougher teams. Eh wala na si Doubhit sa FIBA World Cup, so si Fajardo na lang– na limited pa din ang experience playing competitively with the team. Si Japeth kasi magaan at madaling matulak. I am also hoping that Belga and Washington improve enough to make the lineup sa World Cup. We need the size and rebounding. I hope our guys are already loading up with beta-alanine (popular sa US and UK Olympic teams daw ito) para mas resistant sila sa fatigue at mabawasan lactic acid buildup.
