Tristan Thompson to play for Canada in FIBA OQT
According to reports, Tristan Thompson will play for Team Canada in the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Manila this July 5-10, 2016. Thompson was not included in the previous announcement of the Team Canada Player Pool.

NBA Players Andrew Wiggins (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers) will not join Canada in the FIBA OQT Manila. Canada will be led by Cory Joseph (Toronto Raptors), Joel Anthony (Detroit Pistons) and Tyler Ennis (Milwaukee Bucks).
