Kyrie Irving and James Harden both with 12 points. Derrick Rose did not play in this game. Francisco Garcia led Dominican Republic with 14 points.

Team USA played Brazil in a tune-up game last August 16, 2014, USA won 95-78 led by Anthony Davis with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. Derrick Rose is back and scored 7 points and contributed 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 24 minutes including a great layup over Anderson Varejao of Brazil. Tiago Splitter led Brazil with 16 points.
