Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Feature Part I: Rajko Toroman – A look at the record of Smart Gilas Head Coach Rajko Toroman. Serbian Coach Toroman is currently the Head Coach of the Jordanian National Basketball Team. Before coaching Smart Gilas, Coach Rajko led Iran to a 1st Place finish in the 2007 FIBA Asia Championship and qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Smart Gilas or Gilas Pilipinas 1.0 was coached by Rajko Toroman from 2009-2012.

Toroman released by SMC, wants to coach in PBA
Former Smart Gilas Head Coach Rajko Toroman who turned consultant for San Miguel Corporation after his Gilas stint has parted ways with the group and is now in talks with Barako Bull as he wants to try coaching in the PBA.

New Smart Gilas Coach Chot Reyes
Chot Reyes of Talk N Text will get another shot at handling the National Basketball Team, this time with Smart Gilas, or sometimes called Smart Gilas 2.0. Coach Rajko Toroman ( who is now an SMC Consultant) handled the 1st Smart Gilas team and placed 4th in the FIBA Asia Championship last year.
Coach Chot will handle the new Smart Gilas program which has a new goal which is to gain one of the top three slots in the 2013 FIBA-Asia Championship which will qualify the team to the 2014 FIBA World Championship.
