Basketball Venues that will be inspected includes the Philippine Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, Mall of Asia Arena and 2 more venues to be developed soon: SM Cebu Arena and Solaire Arena.

Philippines in shortlist for hosting the 2019 FIBA World Cup
Philippines is one of the 6 countries being considered to host the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, the other countries in the shortlist are China, Germany, France, Qatar and Turkey. The 6 candidates can also be considered as hosts for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

If you purchased your The Last Home Stand ticket from Ticketnet, please proceed to the Ticketnet Box Office located at the Yellow Gate, Smart Araneta Coliseum, starting July 24 onwards, from 10am to 8pm daily. Please surrender your physical ticket and provide your name to immediately claim your cash refund.
If you purchased your The Last Home Stand ticket from Ticketnet Online (www.ticketnet.com.ph), you do not need to go to the Smart Araneta Coliseum for your refund. Your online payment will be reversed on your credit card.
Gilas Pilipinas to face 12 NBA Stars at Smart Araneta Coliseum
Before heading to Spain for the FIBA World Cup, Gilas Pilipinas will face Fibr NBA All-Stars in one epic occasion deemed as the biggest basketball charity event in the Philippines – PLDT’s Last Home Stand.
After winning 3rd place in FIBA Asia Cup, the Philippine National Basketball Team is back to do 2 exhibition games with 12 NBA Superstars including Blake Griffin, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Damian Lillard and more along with coach John Lucas at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on July 22 – 23, 2014.
Some of the NBA stars for the Gilas Last Home Stand made an appearance at the press conference at the NBA Cafe in SM Aura.

The Last Home Stand All-Star Charity Event on July 22, 2014, 7pm and July 23, 2014, 4pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum featuring Blake Griffin, Paul George, Tyson Chandler, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Demar Derozan, Kyle Lowry, Brandon Jennings, Terrence Ross, Ed Davis and Nick Johnson vs Gilas Pilipinas.
NBA guests will be coached by former San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers coach John Lucas.
