Marcio Lassiter had the chance to win Game 2 for San Miguel Beer as he made a three-point shot at the buzzer but was not counted as he released the ball with no time left. Rain or Shine now lead the series 2-0 and 1 win away from the PBA Commissioners Cup Finals.

Lassiter and other San Miguel players for Duterte-Cayetano
As posted by the Duterte Cayetano Facebook Page, several San Miguel Beermen players including Marcio Lassiter, Alex Cabagnot, Nebert Omolon, Ryan Arana, Gabby Espinas and Jay-R Reyes proclaimed their support for Rodrigo Duterte for President and Alan Peter Cayetano for Vice President. They call themselves Ballers for Duterte Cayetano.

Chris Ross – PBA Player of the Week
Chris Ross was named PBA Player of the Week for March 15-20 in the 2016 PBA Commissioners Cup. Ross led San Miguel Beermen to a big win over Alaska Aces with 14 points, 12 assists and 6 rebounds.
Marcio Lassiter blocks Joseph Yeo Video
Aside from contributing 28 points (8/14 from 3), 6 rebounds and 4 assists for San Miguel Beer, Marcio Lassiter also made a big block against Joseph Yeo as SMB got their 1st win in the 2016 PBA Commissioners Cup by beating GlobalPort. Terrence Romeo with 22 points for Batang Pier.

June Mar Fajardo out 2-3 weeks
June Mar Fajardo will be out for 2-3 weeks to rest his injured left knee and will miss a couple of games for San Miguel Beermen in the PBA Commissioners Cup which will star on February 10 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
