San Miguel Beermen defeated Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the Semifinals series and just a win away from a PBA Philippine Cup Finals rematch with Alaska Aces.
Alaska eliminates GlobalPort, back in Finals
Alaska Aces won their 4th straight game against GlobalPort Batang Pier and won the PBA Semifinals Series 4-1. Ping Exciminiano led Alaska with 19 points while Chris Banchero contributed 18 points.

June Mar Fajardo with another great performance for San Miguel Beermen with 33 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks but this time SMB won against Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 105-92. Series now tied at 2-2.

Calvin Abueva led Alaska in Game 4 with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists against GlobalPort Batang Pier as the Aces now lead the series 3-1.

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters won Game 3 in a close game against San Miguel Beermen, 111-106. Paul Lee led ROS with 18 points while Beau Belga was named Best Player with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Alaska Aces limited the offense of GlobalPort Batang Pier to just 69 points as they won back-to-back games in their Best-of-Seven PBA Philippine Cup Semifinals Series. Vic Manuel led Alaska with 16 points as they now lead the series 2-1.

Another big lead by ROS at the start of the game but this time Rain or Shine Elasto Painters stopped the run of San Miguel Beermen in the 4th quarter as they tied the series at 1-1. Jeff Chan led ROS with 16 points and 4 assists while Rookie Don Trollano contributed 13 points.
Alaska defeats GlobalPort by 24, ties series at 1-1
Alaska Aces took over Game 2 to tie the series at 1-1 against GlobalPort Batang Pier, 100-76. Chris Banchero led the Aces with 18 points and 5 rebounds while Stanley Pringle led Batang Pier with 22 points. Terrence Romeo was limited to 20 points after scoring 41 points in Game 1.
