Gilas Pilipinas will bring their talents to South Beach
The Gilas Pilipinas players and coaching staff are on their way to Miami for a two-week training in preparation for the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2014 Asian Games. New naturalized player Andray Blatche is expected to join the team in Miami.

San Mig Coffee Mixers Marc Pingris was ejected after punching James Sena of the Meralco Bolts during their match in the 2014 PBA Governors Cup. Despite the ejection of Marc Pingris due to the Flagrant Foul 2, San Mig Coffee still won the game, 108-90 led by Peter June Simon with 22 points.

San Mig Super Coffee Mixers Assistant Coach Jeffrey Cariaso is now the Head Coach of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Although Jeffrey Cariaso has no head coaching experience, he was a vital part of the recent Championships of San Mig Coffee under Coach Tim Cone.
