Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson made his debut for the LA Lakers earlier in a preseason game against the Denver Nuggets. Clarkson scored 14 points and with 5 rebounds in 27 minutes for the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant is back from an injury and with 13 points and 5 assists as LA beat Denver, 98-95.

Jordan Clarkson was drafted by the Washington Wizards in the Second Round of the 2014 NBA Draft (46th Pick overall) but was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Clarkson averaged 18.1 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Missouri Tigers.
Jordan Clarkson’s Mother is a Filipina. But just like other Fil-Ams like Chris Ellis, Cliff Hodge, Sol Mercado, Jason Brickman and Stephen Holt, they are all ineligible for FIBA Tournaments and cannot join Gilas Pilipinas since they did not choose their citizenship before the age of 16.
