Manny Pacquiao Officially Playing Coach of KIA
Manny Pacquiao is now officially the Playing Coach of KIA Motors after he was picked 11th overall in the 2014 PBA Draft. KIA also picked Rene Pacquiao in the 3rd round, a cousin of Manny Pacquiao.

Danny Ildefonso was picked No. 1 by Blackwater Sports in the PBA Dispersal Draft while Reil Cervantes was chosen No. 2 by KIA Motors.

Manny Pacquiao – New PBA Playing Coach?
Congressman Manny Pacquiao has agreed to be the Playing Coach of the new PBA Team, KIA Motors. But PBA Rules states that all PBA rookies must pass through the PBA Rookie draft, the problem is any PBA team can pick Pacquiao in the PBA draft. Two new teams in the PBA soon?
Two companies expressed interest in joining the Philippine Basketball Association soon, KIA Motors (Columbia Automotive Corporation) and Blackwater Sports (Ever Bilena Inc). If the two teams will be approved by the PBA Board, the PBA will have 12 teams in the PBA 40th Season.
