Congratulations China! The FIBA Central Board chose China as the host for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The Final 2 candidates made their final bid presentation led by Manny Pacquiao, Jimmy Alapag and Lou Diamond Phillips for Philippines and Yao Ming for China.

Talk N Text retires Jersey #3 of Jimmy Alapag
At halftime of the 2015 PBA All-Star Game, the PBA had a retirement ceremony for Jimmy Alapag where Talk N Text retired Jersey #3 of the Mighty Mouse.
Jimmy Alapag became emotional while giving his retirement speech. Commissioner Chito Salud, Coach Chot Reyes, LJ Moreno Alapag and Asi Taulava also made their speeches.
