One PBA Player per team on Gilas Pilipinas
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Board has approved to lend at least 1 PBA player per team for the Gilas Pilipinas National Basketball Team that will compete in the FIBA Asia Championship this August 2013. The only sure player for that team is Naturalized-player, Marcus Douthit. But it is still the decision of Coach Chot Reyes who will make the final lineup.

-LA Tenorio and Gary David with 11 points each, David with a crucial fastbreak layup in the last 2 minutes
-Gabe Norwood and Jared Dillinger both with 10 points
-Ranidel de Ocampo with 8 points and 5 rebounds
-Great defense by Philippines forcing Lebanon to 17 turnovers, 35% field goal shooting and 20% shooting from 3-point range
-Smart Gilas did not shoot well from 3-point range for the 2nd straight game (2/13 only)
-Philippines now 1-1, with 2 games left Uzbekistan (9/16 at 1pm) and Macua (9/17 at 10:30am) in the preliminary round
