Gilas Pilipinas defeated host Cambodia, 80-69 in the finals of the 2023 SEA games Basketball to capture the Gold Medal. Justin Brownlee again led Philippines with 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Chris Newsome played well and contributed 16 points and 4 assists while Marcio Lassiter with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, CJ Perez and Christian Standhardinger with 9 points each.

Gilas Pilipinas defeated Singapore, 105-45 in their final game of the 2023 SEA Games Group Phase held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Marcio Lassiter led Philippines with 16 points and was 4/7 from the three-point line.
