Douthit is only a temporary replacement for Blackwater Import Chris Charles who is currently injured. Marcus admitted that he is still also not 100% and visibly got tired in the last quarter of the game.

Marcus Douthit to play for Blackwater
Blackwater has tapped Marcus Douthit to temporarily replace import Chris Charles who did not play in the Elite’s first game due to an injury.
This is not the first time that Marcus Douthit will play as an import in the PBA, Douthit played for Air 21 in 2012. According to reports, Blackwater already got permission from SBP since Marcus is under contract by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas as he is set to play in the SEA Games and SEABA Tournaments this year.
