Sonny Thoss was elbowed at the back of his head and was out early in the game to get stitches while Terrence Romeo got tangled with Aleksei Goliakhov of Russia and got hit in the face with the ball by Alimdzhan Fediushin, the same player who hit Thoss earlier.
