USA beat Serbia by 33 in Gold Medal Game
USA defeated Serbia, 99-66 in the Finals of the 2016 Rio Olympics Basketball to take home the Gold Medal.
Kevin Durant finished with 30 points for Team USA while DeMarcus Cousins with another solid performance with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Klay Thompson scored 12 points.
It was still a close game in the opening quarter with Team USA with just a 4 point lead, 19-15 but Durant and Cousins took over in the 2nd quarter as USA led by 23 at the half, 52-29.
Nemanja Nedovic led Serbia with 14 points and they will take home the Silver Medal.
In the Battle for the Bronze Medal, Spain defeated Australia, 89-88 led by Pau Gasol with 31 points and 11 rebounds.
