And there you go…we have now 36 responses and counting..Malayo pa ang laro, pero magandang makitang naiinvolve ang marami sa usapang Smart Gilas 2. Ofcourse, we are talking about the most popular sports in the philippines with the most popular names sa PBA..Anyways, maganda ang mga punto natin, lalo na sa sinasabing consistency at perimeter players.

With the recent line up, we may say Gary David is a sure Gilas player (perimeter shooter), consistent and a shooter. Kung dun naman sa sinasabing may napatunayan, I can see na si Jimmy Alapag ang may napatunayan na. And with the previous stint ng talk n text with imports as big as 7 feet, I would say Jason Castro is a steady player as well..May napatunayan na rin si Kelly and Norwood..Kung naliliitan tayo sa point guard spot, we can also add in Sol Mercado, Norwood and Dilinger..who can defend sa mga bigger point ng kalaban..So sa number 2 spot tayo…there’ll be a good debate between James Yap and Cyrus Baguio. Kung puso ang ttignan mas guto ko si Baguio. Hindi kasi naging consistent si James sa previous stint nya sa FIBA eh….So we can have Garry and Baguio…mmmm, we need a shooter who can defend > Chris Lutz, I will add Dilinger sa number 2 spot..and considering Caguiao has proven himself this conference, pede pa rin natin syang idagdag sa number 2 spot. Hindi nga lang natin alam kung gaano pa sya kalakas 2 years from now. Sa number 3 spot naman, gusto ko sana yung height ni Arwin Santos at ang kayang defending prowess, pero with the last stint nya medyo inconsistent din,..So maybe we could have Washington for this spot considering mas consistent si Washigton sa 3 point area and sa perimeter..Orcourse, di mawawala si Williams who has proven himself as well..Medyo may konting question kay Ranidel, pero we can give him another chance (sana di magbakasyon)Good addition si Larry Fonacier sa number 3 spot..Sa number 4 naman, I can see Thoss and Pighris as a good defender/rebounder…sa number 5, we need another 6’9” to 7 footer Monster sa loob like Denzel Monster Bowles para may makatulong si Doughtit..

so here is my final line up:

    Alapag/Castro/Norwood
    David/Dilinger/Fonacier/Lutz
    Washington/Williams/De Ocampo
    Thoss/Pingris
    Doughtit/Big men (?)

I think that half of the line up is not good. we need International amateurs.. look at SMART GILAS 1.0 we almost made into FINALS.. dapat 1-2 yrs mag practice.. sama2 !!

    C- M. Doughit/ McGee -Reserve Slaughter
    PF-Aguilar, DeOcampo, Fajardo
    SF-Williams, Lutz/Lassiter, Dillinger
    SG-David, James Yap, Ryan Reyes
    PG- R.Parks Castro, Casio, Reyes,
a total of 16.. ung naglaro sa FIBA SEA dami den duon.. dapat amateur line up if puede reinforce lang nang 3-5 from PRO..
