San Miguel beat TNT to even series at 1-1
San Miguel Beermen dominated Game 2 of the 2017 PBA Commissioners Cup Finals to even the series against TNT Ka Tropa at 1-1. Chris Ross was named Best Player with 20 points, 9 assists and 4 steals.
June Mar Fajardo led SMB with 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Arwind Santos contributed 16 points and 6 rebounds. In the import matchup, Charles Rhodes with 7 points and 11 rebounds while Joshua Smith with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
TNT had a hot start going 17-0 but San Miguel clawed back and even led at halftime 52-43. The hero in Game 1 rookie Roger Pogoy was ejected from the game in the 3rd quarter after hitting Arwind Santos in the groin area
Game 3 will be on June 25, 6:30pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
