Philippines falls short against Canada in Jones Cup
Philippines (Ateneo Blue Eagles) lost to Canada (3D Global Sports), 86-78 in the 2018 Jones Cup in Taipei, Taiwan.
Matt Nieto led Ateneo with 18 points as Philippines were down by as much as 27 points in the 2nd quarter before climbing their way back in the 2nd half but fell short in their 3rd game. Philippines now with a 1-2 record while Canada remained undefeated.
Thirdy Ravena with 12 points and 9 rebounds while Adrian Wong contributed 11 points.
