Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Terrence Romeo is currently injured and did not make the trip to Japan with the other Gilas Pilipinas players and coaching staff for their 1st game of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The Gilas Pilipinas Final 12 vs Japan will be announced on the eve of their game against Japan. Making the Japan trip were the following Gilas players: Andray Blatche, June Mar Fajardo, Jayson Castro, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, Calvin Abueva, Carl Bryan Cruz, Gabe Norwood, Troy Rosario, Mac Belo, Roger Pogoy, Allein Maliksi and Matthew Wright.

After flying in the morning of November 21, Gilas already had their 1st practice in the afternoon.

Gilas Pilipinas vs Japan on November 24 at the Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground Gymnasium in Tokyo.

Romeo is still part of the 16-man pool of Gilas Pilipinas and there might still be a possibility that he might play against Chinese-Taipei at home on November 27.
