Mighty Sports lost to Shanghai Sharks in Merlion Cup Finals
Mighty Sports Philippines lost to Shanghai Sharks, 78-77 in the 2016 Merlion Cup Finals in Singapore. Jimmer Fredette led Shanghai with 41 points including the final 3 free throws to win the game.
Kiefer Ravena made some clutch baskets again for Philippines and was still leading by 2, 77-75 but Al Thornton was whistled for a foul on Fredette at the three-point line with no time left. Thornton led Mighty Sports with 36 points.
Mighty Sports settled for 2nd place.
