Marc Pingris attends Gilas Practice

Marc Pingris practiced with Gilas Pilipinas last night, November 7 at the Meralco Gym in preparation for the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Although not in the new Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool, Pingris participated in the drills by Coach Chot Reyes and showed the young Gilas players that he can still play.

Japeth Aguilar and Terrence Romeo were in attendance but did not participate in the workout.

Being allowed to observe practice of great coaches like Baby D, Ron Jacobs, Coach K, Dean Smith, Phil Jackson, Bobby Knight, Ruben Magnano, etc was invaluable to my development as an aspiring coach. Coaches from around the country were allowed to observe the Gilas Pilipinas practice as part of the NBTC Coaches Convention by the MVP Sports Foundation.
