Jones Cup: Mighty Sports defeats USA, now 3-0
Mighty Sports (Philippines) defeated Sacramento State (USA), 88-69 in their 3rd game of the 2016 William Jones Cup held in Taipei, Taiwan.
Imports Dewarick Spencer and Vernon Macklin led Mighty Sports with 14 points each. Mike Singletary and Al Thornton contributed 12 points each for Philippines. Hamady N’Diaye with 8 blocks.
Fil-Am Jason Brickman scored 9 points and was 3/3 from the field. Locals Sunday Salvacion and Larry Rodriguez with 3 points each. Mighty Sports remain unbeaten with a 3-0 record.
