Greg Slaughter cleared by FIBA to play as a local
Greg Slaughter was finally cleared by FIBA to play as a local for Gilas Pilipinas.
But Greg Slaughter is still recovering from an ankle injury he sustained while playing for Ginebra in the PBA and is not yet sure if he will be cleared to play vs Iran on the road on September 13 and vs Qatar at home on September 17. View Gilas Pilipinas FIBA Qualifiers 2nd Round Schedule

Greg Slaughter was part of the original Smart Gilas team but he played only in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup which is a Club Tournament and not in any official FIBA Tournament for the national teams.
