Gold Medal for Perlas Pilipinas as they swept the SEABA Women’s Championship
Perlas Pilipinas defeated Thailand, 72-52 to sweep the 2016 SEABA Championship for Women held in Malacca City, Malaysia. Allana Lim led Philippines with 15 points as they are unbeaten in 6 games to capture the SEABA Women’s Title.
Afril Bernardino with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Janine Pontejos contributed 9 points and 5 rebounds while Camille Sambile scored 8 points in their final game.
Philippines outrebounded Thailand, 49-39. Congratulations to Coach Patrick Aquino and Perlas Pilipinas!
