Ginebra defeated San Miguel in OT
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel needed an extra period to tie the series against San Miguel Beermen at 1-1 in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Finals. Scottie Thompson with a monster game for Ginebra with 18 points, 18 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.
Japeth Aguilar led Ginebra with 23 points along with 12 rebounds while rookie Fevin Ferrer scored 21 points.
Arwind Santos led SMB with 23 points who trailed Ginebra for most of the game before forcing OT. Marcio Lassiter scored 21 points but was ejected from the game.
