Gilas Pilipinas will not play in the 2013 Jones Cup

Just got word from d organizers that we have been un-invited to d Jones Cup. Di matapos-tapos ang problema ng Gilas ha.

Because of the on-going tension between Taiwan and the Philippines, the Jones Cup organizers withdrew the invitation for the Philippines for “Security Reasons”. Now, Gilas Pilipinas will not be able to defend the William Jones Cup title which we won last year and we must find a suitable tournament to replace the Jones Cup in preparation for the FIBA Asia Championship this August 2013.
