Gilas Pilipinas vs PBA All-Stars in 3 cities
Gilas Pilipinas will face a PBA selection for the 2017 PBA All-Star Week which will be held in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao: April 26 in Cagayan de Oro, April 28 in Lucena City and April 30 in Cebu.
These 3 exhibition matches of Gilas Pilipinas is in preparation for the 2017 SEABA Championship which will be held from May 12-18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Read more: 2017 SEABA Championship to be held at Araneta Coliseum
Gilas Pilipinas members who came from the host region will play for the PBA selection. Example is June Mar Fajardo who came from Cebu will play for the PBA All-Stars instead of Gilas Pilipinas in Cebu. Another example is Calvin Abueva who came from Pampanga will play for the PBA All-Stars in Lucena City.
The Skills Competition – Slam Dunk, 3-point shootout and Skills Challenge will be played on April 28 in Lucena City.
