Gilas Pilipinas vs China tune-up game ended with a draw, 79-79 held at the Angeles University Foundation Gym in Pampanga. Kai Sotto led Philippines with 13 points.
Dwight Ramos and Carl Tamayo did not play due to injuries and Gilas Pilipinas was left with 11 players in this game as Javi Gomez de Llano and Jaydee Tungcab was cut from the pool. Angelo Kouame and Jordan Heading with 12 points each for Gilas.
They will leave for Serbia tomorrow, Thursday, June 24. Gilas Pilipinas will face host Serbia on July 1 and Dominican Republic on July 2 for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Both China and Philippines swept their games in the 3rd window of the FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers. China will also participate in the other Olympic Qualifying Tournament held in Canada.
