Gilas Pilipinas started their 3-day Training Camp in Tagaytay today, March 14 in preparation for the 2017 SEABA Championship from May 12-18.
Led by Gilas Head Coach Chot Reyes, old and new Gilas players had light practice learning about the dribble drive offense.

June Mar Fajardo and Japeth Aguilar who recently played in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals were excused and did not join the team. Terrence Romeo is currently sick and Paul Lee was replaced by Allein Maliksi who arrived in the afternoon. Read more: Allein Maliksi In, Paul Lee out of Gilas Pool
Jayson Castro who is still recovering from a hamstring injury watched from the sidelines. Art Dela Cruz of Blackwater who is part of the Gilas pool got injured (torn achilles tendon) in the 1st day of practice.
Jong Uichico and Jimmy Alapag will be part of the Gilas Pilipinas Coaching Staff.
