Gilas Pilipinas players and coaching staff are on their way to Taiwan to prepare for their game against Chinese-Taipei on June 29 for the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

No final line-up yet but 15 Gilas players joined the trip: Andray Blatche, Jayson Castro, Terrence Romeo, Baser Amer, Jio Jalalon, Matthew Wright, RR Pogoy, Calvin Abueva, Troy Rosario, June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Carl Bryan Cruz and Troy Rike.

The Gilas vs Chinese-Taipei game is already sold out and will be played at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium. Gilas Pilipinas beat Chinese-Taipei at home in the 1st window of the FIBA Qualifiers last November 2017 led by Jayson Castro with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists and June Mar Fajardo with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.
