Gilas Pilipinas beat Congo by 22 in 1st tune-up game in Spain

Gilas Pilipinas defeated Congo, 102-80 in their 1st tune-up game in Guadalajara, Spain in preparation for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Andray Blatche led Philippines with 25 points.
Japeth Aguilar scored 22 points for Gilas who played with 10 players only. Mark Barroca with 16 markers while Matthew Wright and Gabe Norwood contributed 8 points each. Rookie CJ Perez scored 7 points.
Gilas Pilipinas will face Ivory Coast tomorrow, Thursday, August 7 in their final tune-up game before playing in a mini pocket tournament, also in Spain.
