Gilas Cadets lost to Ateneo in FilOil Flying V debut
Gilas Pilipinas Cadets lost to Ateneo Blue Eagles, 75-69 in their 1st game of the 2018 Chooks-to-Go FilOil Flying V Premier Cup last April 21.
Ricci Rivero led Gilas Cadets with 17 points while Thirdy Ravena who is also part of the Gilas Cadets was the top scorer for Ateneo with 16 markers and also with 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Kobe Paras with 13 points in his debut since coming back from the US but was only 5/14 from the field.
Juan Gomez De Liaño, Paul Desiderio and Will Gozum had back-to-back games as they played for the UP Fighting Maroons in the 1st game where they lost to La Salle and they also played in the Gilas Cadets vs Ateneo game.
