In their 1st game in the 2024 FIBA OQT, Georgia lost to Latvia, 83-55. Players to watch out for are nba players Alexander “Sandro” Mamukelashvili and Goga Bitadze. Georgia finished 16th place in the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila.

A win by Gilas Pilipinas will make them the No. 1 team in Group A and will play the No. 2 team in Group B. If Gilas Pilipinas loses to Georgia by less than 19 points, Gilas will still advance to the semifinals but if Georgia wins by 19 points or more, Gilas Pilipinas is eliminated.
