France almost beat USA even without Tony Parker
France lost to USA, 100-97 in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Tony Parker did not play due to an injured toe but France still had a chance to win the game. Klay Thompson was on fire with 30 points including 7 3-point shots to lead Team USA.
Kyrie Irving with 10 points and 12 assists while Kevin Durant with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (6/6 FGs). Nando de Colo with 18 points while Thomas Heurtel also with 18 points and 9 assists and 8 rebounds.
USA finished the preliminary round with a perfect 5-0 record while France with a 3-2 record, both will advance to the quarterfinals.
