Dondon Hontiveros retires from the PBA after 17 years
Former Gilas Pilipinas player Dondon Hontiveros has officially retired from the PBA after 17 years. Hontiveros played for Gilas Pilipinas in 2011 and 2015.
Before playing in the PBA, Dondon played for the Cebu Gems in the Metropolitan Basketball Association then transferred to the PBA and played for Tanduay, San Miguel, Air 21, Petron and Alaska. Hontiveros is in the 4th all-time list for most 3-point shots made in PBA History behind Jimmy Alapag, Allan Caidic and Ronnie Magsanoc.
