Philippines (Batang Gilas) will participate in the 2018 FIBA U18 Asian Championship from August 5-11, 2018 in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Batang Gilas Pilipinas is in Group B with China, Lebanon, and United Arab Emirates.

Five players played in the recent FIBA U17 World Cup: Kai Sotto, Gerry Abadiano, Bismarck Lina, Raven Cortez and Geo Chiu. Biggest addition is 6’10 AJ Edu and Fil-Italian Dalph Panopio.

The Top 4 teams in the 2018 FIBA U18 Asian Championship will qualify for the FIBA U19 World Cup next year.
