Alaska defeats SMB, now lead series 2-0
Alaska Aces now 2-0 after beating San Miguel Beermen in Game 2 of the 2016 Philippine Cup Finals. Vic Manuel led Alaska again with 18 points along with 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks and was named Best Player of the Game for the second straight game.
Alex Cabagnot led SMB with 23 points who still played without June Mar Fajardo. Yancy de Ocampo played well for SMB with 13 points. Dondon Hontiveros scored 12 points for the Aces while Calvin Abueva with 9 points and 11 rebounds.
Game 3 will be in Lucena City this Friday, Jan 22.
