Strong Group beat UAE by 25
Strong Group Athletics who represent Philippines in the 2024 Jones Cup won their 1st game as they beat United Arab Emirates (UAE), 104-79 held in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Chris McCollough led SGA with 15 points along with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Former Alab Pilipinas player Caelan Tiongson scored 13 points. Tiongson will be part of the PBA Rookie Draft tomorrow along with SGA teammate RJ Abarrientos who contributed 9 points and 10 assists.
Imports Tajuan Agee and Derrick Fenner with 12 points and 8 points respectively. Kiefer Ravena played well with 11 points and 8 assists while Jordan Heading contributed 9 points same as Ange Kouame.
