Do you think smart gilas program should continue? Yes, pero hndi n dpat dun gling ang core ng team para s future competitions. I say, Get the Mythical team sa PBA then all the rest s smart gilas program. Under Coach Toroman p din ksi kita nyo naman un systema, S rotation naman dapat handa each player, if you want it, show it. 2 to 3 turnovers lbas k muna.Plus a naturalized with height, Marcus was very good pra na taung may import dun. Disadvantage, hndi din tau cgrdo dun ksi hndi all out maglaro ang mga professionals hndi tulad noon unang panahon nina Loyzaga, Puso ang problema. Kun from the ranks of amateurs naman, un consistency, shot selection, finishing that goes with experience. Also most important, kun nais p din ni Sir MVP mag sponsor, ksi wala naman ibng myayaman n gusto. ksi titingnan mo, iti train un mga napili under the program, gumaling na dhil na expose s international competitions tas papasok sa pro league, nasaan ang patriotism at dedication? Hndi katulad ni Chris tiu na playing for flag tlga, he has done magnificent job on Daghles defensively, pero d k maintindhan kut bkt kinokontest nla jumpshot nun e d nman ganun kgaling s shooting, kmbga focus k lng s depensa ng pag pasa nya.Sympre attracted un iba s money and popularity playing in the pro league,I’m not sure pero somehow affected din un laro nun mga pumasok s pro league ksi prng hindi n gnun katindi mithiin for olympics.
S pro league naman, bka po pdeng mag adjust say at least a conference n i adopt nyo un FIBA style, especially fouls and un zone defense, it’ll help a lot s basketball ntn,nd maybe manood n uli ak ng PBA. With this conference din pkitanggal nun height limit s imports, pra masanay cla n matatangkad klaban, i know hndi ok dito un iba pero ksi nkikita ntn dominating cla pero pgdting s international nawawala, how can we measure up s klaban kun cla cla ngalalaban. Ok un overall performance ng smart gilas, 2 yrs. preparation,un ibng bansa naman 2ld ng Jordan, Iran. how many years un pagsasama to solidify their team. But hndi to un point, Mico halili,Jason webb,Richard del rosario b un commentator n nerbyoso and saying it was the best finish of our team after 2 decades, the point is they we’re given the chance, un break (kagatin m n), alam naman ntn dba pag playoffs puso n tlga nangigibaw more than skill, I know they played hard against Korea (but not against Jordan-un zone defense issue dun,ala cla mgawa) pero maaring matagal n uli tau mbgyan nun break, un groupings, etc. Kaya gnun panghihinayang namin, It was a heart breaker n nman, Un s finshings naman with the past teams lalo n un all PBA selections ang taas ng expectations namin pero ala, then how on earth can we be proud of our PRO league, our nation and as an individual, a filipino. we are blinded with the phrase “Iba ang dugong Pinoy”, diba may advertisement p nga using PACQUIAO n cnbing we can achieve coz we’re pinoy, that’s unacceptable. Where PACQUIAO is, is not bcoz He is a PINOY, It is bcoz of his determination, descipline and most of all with the blessing of God. Do all pinoys posses this? or least do this, I’m am now thinking we Pinoys can’t excel with team plays (basketball) not if we’re pushed to our limits (EDSA revolutions) that’s why as a nation also we don’t go well.(Economy,Politics, etc.).
ang sumira ng magandang laro ng pinas ay ung bobong lutz! sya ang may pinakamaraming pagkakamali! ang bobo nya! putang ina yan! mas magaling pa ako dumipensa jan..fouled out ung bobo dapat nung 1st qtr pa yan natanggal pahamak yang bobong yan!
i agree with disapointed comment.for Pinoy coaches & players more than a decade binigyan k ng opurtunidad grab it. it’s not enough na ok na! sa trabaho ba ganyan pag palpak ka sabon ka if worst tangal. Wag kayo masyado pusong Mamon! Para sa improevement din nila. Sayang si Aguilar hinde ginamit. Tangalin nyo na sila Baroca,Tiu,Lutz,Baracael wasted. get a 6’5 above guards. like ray Parks can play guards & Ramos.

And the free throws sucks…Mismatch masyado undersized ang GIlas. Mas impressive pa ang Japan,Taipe & Korea our counterparts.
I find it funny na me nag agree with disapointed. Tama ba yun murahin at laitin yung buong team? Parang si Floyd Weather Jr. kung bumanat, uneducated & no class at all. B-)
Magkakampi talaga tayo yey
¤Mayweather.. Sorry nabura ko ang May, hahaha.
my wishlist:
alapag,tenorio,mercado, norwood -pg
de ocampo, canaleta, santos-og
aguilar, washington, raymundo-sf
fajardo,williams,devance- pf
slaughter, douhtit – c
wag u na isama pa alapag at tenorio as PG, masyado maliit, meron naman tayo malaki,ok na norwood at mercado, dagdag na lang natin jason castro as third in rotation
de ocampo cannot play 2-guard pards, power forward laro niyan, at masyado siya maliit as power forward… maganda 2-guard natin is 1. Arwind Santos 2. Lassiter 3. Dillinger
I believe aguilar can be at his best playing the power forward position, so ang SF natin should be 1. Jay Wash 2. Kelly Williams 3. Joe DeVance
ang Power forward natin is.. 1. Douthit 2. Aguilar 3. Fajardo/Pennisi
Center… 1. Slaughter 2. Thoss 3. Eman/Taulav
Matatangkad talaga ito pards believe me
revising my line-up…
CENTER 1. Slaughter 2. Thoss 3. Eman/Taulava
POWER FORWARD 1. Douthit 2. Aguilar 3. Fajardo/Pennisi
SMALL FORWARD 1. Jay Washington 2. Kelly Williams 3. Joe DeVance
SHOOTING GUARD 1. Arwind Santos 2. Lassiter 3. Dillinger
POINT GUARD 1. Gabe Norwood 2. Sol Mercado 3. Jason Castro
this should be our line-up, castro being the only guy below six feet but he is so strong and fast, enough to compensate what he lacks in height… chris tiu is very small as a 2-guard, di niya kaya sumabay with the likes of a rasheim wright or a yi li. ilagay si arwind sa 2-guard and lets see if jordan can do again what they did to us-that is, they exploited our guards (maliliit kasi). also, sa ipinakita ni douthit, he is more effective as a power forward i believe, bigyan natin sya ng isang sentro na disente (that can be slaughter) at makikita natin mas aangat ang offensive game nya kasi di lang sya ang magbabantay sa painted area may makakatulong sya… hats off sa mga guards natin like tiu, barroca and casio, but sorry to say this na masyado dila maliliit, mabibilis nga pero di mo kakikitaan ng consistency pag maliit lalo na kung malaki ang binabantayan at nagbabantay. kumbaga double effort nila against sa kalaban. magaling yung coach ng jordan kasi na-exploit nya ang weakness natin which is our disadvantage in height. maliit din sa ranidel at kelly for the power forward position. power forwards ng kalaban are 6’9″ yata pataas. ganito lang kasimple, china ang nag-champion… tingnan natin ngayon yung piyesa na mayroon sila… match-up-an natin man to man, height to height at tingin ko kaya natin gawin dahil marami malalaki sa PBA in all positions (my dream line-up)… suggestion lang po… tnx
