Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Perlas Pilipinas lost to Indonesia, 78-68 in their 2nd game in the 2017 SEA Games Women’s Basketball held in MABA Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Allana Lim led Perlas with 15 points while Camile Sambile with 14 points. Janine Pontejos scored 10 points. Afril Bernardino contributed 9 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals and 2 blocks.

Philippines led at halftime, 41-34 but was outscored by Indonesia in the 3rd quarter, 25-9.

Philippines now 1-1 and with the loss they now have a long shot of getting the Gold Medal since the format is a single round robin and team with most number of wins gets the Gold.
