Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Gilas Pilipinas vs PBA All-Star Mindanao ended in a draw, 114-114 at Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro in the 1st leg of the 2017 PBA All-Star Week.

Matthew Wright who played for Gilas and Troy Rosario who played for PBA All-Star Mindanao were both named MVPs for the game. Wright led Gilas with 22 points while Troy Rosario with 28 points to lead Team Mindanao.

Mark Barroca made the game-tying three-pointer with less than a minute left in the game and finished with 13 points.

Terrence Romeo scored 18 points and also with 6 rebounds and 8 assists while June Mar Fajardo contributed 16 points and 15 rebounds for Gilas. Star Hotshots players Peter June Simon and Mark Barroca scored 14 and 13 points respectively for Mindanao.

Next game will be Gilas Pilipinas vs PBA All-Star Luzon in Lucena City on April 28, 7pm at Quezon Convention Center,
