Gilas Pilipinas U18 lost to New Zealand, 75-58 in their 3rd game of the 2024 FIBA U18 Asia Cup in Amman, Jordan.
John Medina scored 30 points, almost half of the total score of Philippines as he shot 7/8 from the field and 5 out of 12 from the three-point line. Mark Esperanza with 14 points.
New Zealand led all game led by Carter Hopoi with 23 points and 16 rebounds.

Gilas Pilipinas Under 18 team will face Japan on September 6 in a knockout game, winner will advance to the quarterfinals.
