Gilas Pilipinas Youth lost to Argentina, 83-67 in the Classification Phase of the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Kurt Velasquez led Philippines with 17 points and also with 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Bonn Daja with 15 points and 9 rebounds while Edryn Morales contributed 13 points. Joaquin Ludovice scored 12 points and had 5 assists for Gilas Pilipinas U17.
Martin Torriani led Argentina with 15 points.
