Gilas Pilipinas lost to Georgia by 2 but will advance to the Semifinals
Gilas Pilipinas defeated host Georgia, 96-94 in the Group Phase of the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Justin Brownlee led Philippines with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

Great game by Dwight Ramos with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. (4/8 from 3). CJ Perez had a perfect shooting game with 14 points (4/4 from 2 and 2/2 from 3), most in the 4th quarter.
Chris Newsome played well contributing 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Alexander Mamukelashvili led Georgia with 26 points and is eliminated from the tournament.
Georgia with great start ending the 1st quarter with 11 point lead, 28-17 and lead by 12 at the half, 55-43. Gilas Pilipinas came back in the 3rd quarter and tied the game at 74-all.
Kai Sotto with just 4 points as he got injured in the 2nd quarter and did not come back in the game.
