Gilas Pilipinas is going to the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China after beating Kazakhstan, 93-75 on the road and also Lebanon lost to South Korea, 84-72 in the final day of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Andray Blatche led Philippines with 41 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and 2 blocks (23 points in the 1st half). Jayson Castro with 15 points (4/4 from 3).
June Mar Fajardo with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Paul Lee and Marcio Lassiter with 8 points each.
Philippines qualified for the FIBA World Cup 2019 as the best 4th placed team with a 7-5 record. The 2019 FIBA World Cup in China will be held from August 31 to September 15, 2019.
