Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Gilas Pilipinas is out of the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament after losing to Brazil, 71-60 in the semifinals.

Justin Brownlee led Philippines again with 15 points and 8 rebounds but only 3 points in the 2nd half where Gilas was held to only 6 points in the 3rd quarter after being up by 6 at halftime, 33-27.

Dwight Ramos scored 13 points while June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez with 10 points each. Kai Sotto was not able to play due to the rib injury he sustained during the match against Georgia.

Bruno Caboclo led Brazil with 15 points and will advance to the finals of the FIBA OQT Latvia where the winner will go to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
