Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Gilas Pilipinas beat South Korea, 81-78 in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers held in Clark, Pampanga. SJ Belangel made the buzzer beating 3-point shot as he finished with 13 points. Dwight Ramos led Philippines with 16 points along with 5 rebounds.

Kai Sotto played well with 11 points and 7 rebounds while Angelo Kuoame with 12 points (3/5 from 3) and 6 rebounds in his Gilas debut. South Korea led by as much as 17 points in the 1st half.

Carl Tamayo scored 10 points while Justine Baltazar and RJ Abarrientos with 6 points each.

Ricard Ratliffe aka RA Guna led South Korea with 24 points and 15 rebounds.
