Gilas Pilipinas beat Chinese-Taipei by 22
Gilas Pilipinas started slow and trailed by 9 points in the 1st quarter but controlled the game for the last 3 quarters as they beat Chinese-Taipei, 93-71.
June Mar Fajardo led Philippines with 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds as they won against Chinese-Taipei again but this time on the road in Taiwan in the 3rd window of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Jayson Castro played well with 15 points and 4 assists and was 7/10 from the field. In his 1st game back for Gilas, Terrence Romeo scored 14 points along with 2 rebounds and 6 assists.
Andray Blatche with a double double – 13 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Quincy David led Chinese-Taipei with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
